Mantra’s OM jumps 45% despite looming Hyperliquid delisting vote

The on-chain governance vote on February 23rd regarding whether OM will be delisted from the HyperLiquid platform brought significant uncertainty to the market. If the proposal passes, positions must be passively closed or forcibly settled based on the 1-hour weighted average price, which could trigger a sudden drop in liquidity and a temporary price correction. Although the voting results are yet to be announced, cautious position reducing behavior before the vote has already led to a spike in trading volume, with short-term sentiment leaning cautious.

HyperLiquid announced that validators will vote on February 23 at 8:00 AM UTC to decide whether to delist OM. MANTRA Chain plans a v7.0.0 software upgrade at block height 13,000,000 (expected March 3, 2026) to implement governance proposal #25.
